Just three weeks into university life, this Freshman Learning Community (FLC) has met with CNN executives and rubbed elbows with HLN anchor Melissa Knowles.
Led by Dr. Kelly Grace (GSU 1010) and Dr. Marta Szabo White (PERS 2001 Global Business and Society), these freshmen will visit a total of four Atlanta-based businesses in an effort to better understand what business is, how it works, and what corporate citizenship means to these firms. A total of 17 FLCs are available to business majors this year at GSU. This is part of a Robinson College of Business initiative designed to help pre-business majors develop confidence so they can be successful at Robinson as well as in the business world.
