Sucheta Rawal, B.B.A. finance ’02, M.S. finance ’04, is the founder, president and CEO of Go Eat Give, a non-profit organization with a mission of connecting people of different cultures and backgrounds through food, volunteering and cultural events.
Rawal moved to the United States from India at the age of 17. As a student at Robinson, Rawal learned the leadership skills she uses in Go Eat Give.
“I have to constantly be motivating people and working a lot with volunteers, but then also managing the staff, the board and the different event coordination aspects,” she said.
Go Eat Give started as Rawal’s personal travel blog in 2011, but now offers Volunteer Vacations tours all over the world, and hosts cooking classes, monthly Destination Dinners, and speaking engagements.
Rawal’s persistence and passion have driven Go Eat Give into the internationally known organization it has become. She encourages current Robinson students to do the same.
“Be persistent in whatever your passion is. Don’t think about short-term gains, your nine-to-five job and salary and those kind of things, but be persistent and go after what you really really want,” Rawal said.
