Placement Exam/Online Option
MBA Foundation Courses
There are two ways to exempt 7000-level foundation courses within the MBA program.
Admitted students with undergraduate degrees in business or economics from AACSB or EQUIS accredited institutions with grades of B- or higher in equivalent courses will be exempted from MBA 7025 and/or MBA 7035.
Admitted students with or without the undergraduate degree in business or economics have the option of either taking the 3 hour courses or fulfilling the foundation requirements through an online placement exam on a pass/fail basis. Students who elect to take the online test must do so before the start of their first semester of enrollment since these foundation courses are the prerequisites for many other courses.

Harvard Business School – Quantitative Analysis Course
This foundational course will provide you with great on-line preparation for a rigorous business school program. This course is solely designed to help you adjust to entering into graduate school. Please visit the following link to register and begin working on the course. You have a pre-test and two attempts at passing the final test. The pre-assessment does not count towards passing the test, it simply prepares you for the final. The final test has four modules and you are required to score 80% or higher on each section. Only one final test score is required. If you have any questions, please contact the Graduate Advisement Office for additional assistance.

Fill out all required information associated with the contract
Once signed in, please take the following steps:
1- Under the Search Catalog box, click the "Go" button
2- Select your eLearning program from the Learning Offerings
3- Click the "Register" link to the right
4- Click the "Confirm" button (be sure to disable your pop-up blocker"
5- Click the "Place Order" button
6- Go back to the "Home" tab (top left corner of the site) and view the course listed under "My Enrollments".

- The cost for the online placement exam is $50, plus the shipping fee

Once you have completed studying and taking each section quiz within the product, you are required to complete a comprehensive final exam online. Your final exam is located under "Georgia State Flex MBA Economics Exam" on the Ivy Software testing site @ www.ivysoftware.com on the Products page.

Click on the "Log In to Take a Test" link under Online Testing. Enter your First and Last names and the unique password which was assigned to you by Ivy Software included with your shipment. Only one attempt is permitted for this exam. The exam consists of 40 questions that must be completed in one session and the passing score for this exam is 80% or higher.
