Marketing Science Institute awards CEBCM grant for research proposal titled "Using Customer Lifetime Value to Manage Shareholder Value."
August 21, 2008 (Atlanta) – The Marketing Science Institute has awarded a research grant of $14,100 (research award #4-1444) for the research proposal titled "Using Customer Lifetime Value to Manage Shareholder Value," submitted by Dr. V. Kumar and Dr. Shah. This research proposes to develop a framework to link the outcome of marketing strategies to the stock price of the firm. Consequently, implementation of such a framework will enable marketing managers to quantify the consequences of their actions in terms of the market capitalization of the firm. This study is scheduled to be published in the MSI Working Paper series.
