Georgia State University CIBER is launching the Southeast U.S. Higher Education Consortium for International Business as part of its the long-established practice of working with HBCUs, other minority-serving institutions and community colleges to foster curriculum, faculty, student development and study abroad activities.
The consortium serves as a clearinghouse for faculty development, teaching material preparation and resource sharing. Consortium members can receive technical assistance in submitting funding proposals under the Title VI programs of the U.S. Department of Education. Students at consortium schools can participate in jointly sponsored study abroad and work abroad programs.
