Goutam Challagalla
Dr. Goutam Challagalla is Associate Dean for Executive Education and Brady Family Associate Professor of Marketing at the College of Management, Georgia Institute of Technology. He also serves as the area coordinator for marketing.

His research focuses on marketing management and strategy, customer service, sales teams, sales management, controls, influence, and market power. He has published papers in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Management Science, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, and the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. He is a recipient of the Outstanding Dissertation Award at UT-Austin. Goutam serves on the editorial review board of the Journal of Marketing.

Goutam has taught courses on marketing management, sales management, marketing analysis, and market research. He is the recipient of the E. Roe Stamps Excellence in Teaching Award at Georgia Tech.

Prior to becoming associate dean at Georgia Tech, Dr. Challagalla worked as Principal at Monitor Executive Development (MED), the learning and development unit of The Monitor Group in Cambridge. At Monitor, he served clients in agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, semi-conductor, consumer packaged goods, and chemicals industries.

Dr. Challagalla's MBA is from Arizona State University and Ph.D. is from the University of Texas at Austin.
