Pia A. Albinsson
Pia A. Albinsson is a fourth-year doctoral student from New Mexico State University. Pia has prior international industry experience in services, tourism, and retailing (Sweden, Greece, Malaysia, Portugal and the U.S.). Her research interests focus on consumer behavior and lies in the areas of advertising effects in health prevention and consumer transformation through diet, fitness and wellness consumption activities. Pia has presented her research at the American Marketing Association Educator's (AMA) Conference, Association for Consumer Research (ACR) Conference, the Consumer Culture Theory (CCT) Conference, the Academy of Marketing Science (AMS) Conference, Eastern Academy of Management Conference (EAM), the Society for Consumer Psychology (SCP) Conference, the Society for Marketing Advances (SMA) Conference, the Southwest Texas Popular/American Culture Association Annual Meeting, and the Transformative Consumer Research Conference (TCR). She has manuscripts under various stages of review at Psychology & Marketing and Journal of Consumer Behaviour.
