M Deck Parking Lot:
The M Deck is across the street from the Student Center and is the closest parking facility to the conference.   The entrance to the M Deck Lot is at Auditorium place, accessible from either Courtland or Piedmont Avenue   It costs $6 to park in the M Deck Lot.

Getting to the M Deck Parking Lot:

From North:
• Take 75/85 South to Exit #248-A (MLK Jr. Drive)
• At the 2nd traffic light, turn RIGHT onto Piedmont Avenue
• Cross Decatur Street and Gilmer Street
• After the 2nd light (Gilmer Street), turn LEFT onto Auditorium Place, which looks like an     alley (if you reach Edgewood, you have gone too far)
• The M Deck will be on your left-hand side.

From South:
• Take 75/85 North to Exit #246 (Fulton Street)
• Turn LEFT at Capital Avenue
• Capital Avenue becomes Piedmont Avenue at MLK Jr. Drive
• Cross Decatur Street and Gilmer Street
• After the 2nd light (Gilmer Street), turn LEFT onto Auditorium Place, which looks like an     alley (if you reach Edgewood, you have gone too far)
• The M Deck will be on your left-hand side

From East:
• Take I-20 West to Exit #58-A (Capitol Avenue)
• Turn RIGHT onto Capitol Avenue
• Capital Avenue becomes Piedmont Avenue at MLK Jr. Drive
• Cross Decatur Street and Gilmer Street
• After the 2nd light (Gilmer Street), turn LEFT onto Auditorium Place, which looks like an     alley (if you reach Edgewood, you have gone too far)
• The M Deck will be on your left-hand side

From West:
• Take I-20 East to Exit #56-B (Windsor Street/Spring Street/Stadium)
• Go to the 3rd traffic light and turn LEFT onto Central Avenue
• At approx. the 7th light), turn RIGHT onto Decatur Street
• At the 2nd light, turn LEFT onto Piedmont Avenue
• After the 1st light (Gilmer Street), turn LEFT onto Auditorium Place, which looks like an     alley (if you reach Edgewood, you have gone too far)
• The M Deck will be on your left-hand side

From Midtown:
• Starting on Peachtree Street NE, proceed south towards Ponce de Leon
• Turn LEFT onto Pine Street
• Turn RIGHT onto Courtland Street
• After the light at Edgewood Avenue, turn LEFT onto Auditorium place
• Auditorium Place looks like an alley (if you reach Gilmer, you have gone too far)

Walking to the Student Center from the M Deck Lot:
• Use the exit that is on the opposite side of where you came in
• The Student Center is directly across Gilmer Street
• You may cross the street at the light at Gilmer and Piedmont or at the corner of Gilmer and Courtland

Getting to Other Parking Lots from the M Deck:
On the unlikely occasion that the M Deck is full when you arrive, please try these commercial parking lots located within 1-3 blocks of the Student Center.

  • Grady Memorial Hospital Visitor Parking
    o Exiting the M Deck turn LEFT onto Auditorium Place
    o Turn LEFT onto Courtland Street
    o Turn LEFT at the 1st light onto Gilmer Street
    o Go through the 1st light (Piedmont Avenue)
    o The Selig Parking Deck will be next to Grady Hospital on the right-hand side
    .
  • Hurt Plaza Parking Garage 
    o Exiting the M Deck, turn RIGHT onto Auditorium Place
    o Turn LEFT on Piedmont Ave
    o Make a sharp LEFT onto Edgewood Ave
    o Go through 1 stoplight (Central Avenue)
    o Take a sharp LEFT into the Hurt Plaza Parking Garage
    o If you reach the stoplight at Pryor / Park Place, you have gone too far

  • Georgia State MARTA Station parking Lot
    o Exiting the M Deck turn LEFT onto Auditorium Place
    o Turn LEFT onto Courtland Street
    o Turn LEFT at the 1st light onto Gilmer Street
    o Turn RIGHT on Jesse Hill Jr. (in front of Grady Memorial Hospital)
    o At the 2nd light, turn RIGHT turn onto M.L. King Jr. Drive
    o At the 1st light, turn RIGHT onto Piedmont Avenue
    o Turn RIGHT into the parking lot immediately after the Georgia State MARTA Station
