Langford has been involved in the Business Communication Programs of the Robinson College of Business since its early development. She participated in developing strategies and courses for this initiative and designed both undergraduate and graduate courses which she also teaches. She serves as a graduate coordinator for the program. Langford is co-author of Communication Skills and Strategies: Guidelines for Managers at Work, a book that is used in both universities and corporations. She is a principal in an Atlanta-based corporate communications consulting firm whose clients include Southern Company, McDonald’s, NationsBank, Andersen Consulting, MARTA, IBM, and UPS. A member of the Association of Business Communicators, Langford has served on the Business Practices Committee, the editorial board of the Bulletin, and currently is a member of the MBA Special Interest Group. She is also a member of the Association of Professional Communication Consultants and has completed her certification as a Certified Course Designer/Developer.
