Bello’s areas of interest are in the design and management of marketing distribution systems. His research focus is on the efficiency and effectiveness of domestic and international distribution arrangements. He has expertise in special distribution methods such as trade shows and export channels.

Bello’s research has been published in professional journals such as the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of International Business Studies, Industrial Marketing Management, and Journal of Advertising. He has served on the editorial boards of various professional journals, including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of International Marketing, and Journal of Business Research.
