Recognized as one of the top academics in computer security, Straub speaks and consults extensively on protecting information resources. His research focuses on the management of computer security and the legal and ethical implications of information in the workplace. Straub also conducts research on the impact of technological innovation, IT outsourcing and systems intergration,and electronic commerce. He is the author of more than 50 articles that have appeared in journals such as Management Science, Organizational Science, Information Systems Research, MIS Quarterly, Information Age, Computers & Security, and Information & Management. Straub has also been a consultant for many Fortune 500 firms.
