Jennifer R. Joe received her Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in December 1999. Before joining the faculty at Georgia State, Dr. Joe was on the faculty at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. Her teaching interests are in auditing and financial accounting. Her research interests are judgment and decision making in accounting contexts and corporate governance.
Dr. Joe's dissertation won the Outstanding Dissertation Award from the Accounting Behavior and Organization Section of the American Accounting Association. She has over seven years of professional experience in public accounting and internal auditing.
