The Faculty Development Committee serves as a planning and research arm of the office of the Dean and the faculty of the college with respect to matters pertaining to faculty development in teaching, research and service.

The responsibilities of the Faculty Development Committee include:

• Developing and evaluating on an on-going basis, a college-wide program for student course evaluations
• Recommending programs to improve teaching, research or service effectiveness
• Recommending revisions in the annual faculty performance evaluation review process to improve faculty performance through planning, development and evaluation.

The purpose of this site is to enhance communication between the committee and the college faculty. Among other things, information on workshops, the Instructional Innovation Grant Program and special projects will be posted.
