Program Highlights:

Trends in Training: Changing Methods for Changing Times - A panel discussion with Mark Snyderman, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer for The Coca-Cola Company; Tom Butz, Senior Vice President, Compliance and Ethics, Georgia-Pacific LLC; and Mark Burns, Global Compliance & Ethics Coordinator, UPS.

Manager-Led Ethics and Compliance Discussions - A demonstration of AGL Resources' Character Matters program, an innovative corporate initiative that encourages managers and supervisors to discuss Code of Conduct-related matters with their employees. Program case studies and materials will be shared by Anne Tkacs, Executive Director of Ethics and Compliance at AGL Resources, parent company of Atlanta Gas Light Company.

Addressing Fear of Retaliation to Ensure an Open and Trusting Culture - Georgia Power Company's Dr. Shelton J. Goode will present Georgia Power's training strategy to drive ethical performance and create an open and trusting culture by reducing employee fear of retaliation (a leading reason employees fail to report ethical misconduct on the job). You will participate in a demonstration of an interactive tool used to address this common barrier to creating a culture of respect and trust.

How to "Market" Ethics to Baby-Boomers, Gen Xers and Gen Ys in Your Workplace - Ethics and compliance, like everything else, must be marketed to your internal audiences. Hildebrand Creative, an industry leader in ethics training technology, will engage you in a live demonstration of an innovative program.

Understanding the Hidden Thinking Biases that Can Undermine Training - Dr. Steve Olson, Associate Director of The Center for Ethics and Corporate Responsibility, will discuss the latest research and demonstrate the scientifically-based tools of ExperiencePoint.

Training and Trust: Workplace Ethics in a New Light - Dr. John Knapp, Director of The Center for Ethics and Corporate Responsibility, will show how and why "best practices" in managing workplace ethics have changed in recent years, while exploring the pros and cons of several approaches to training.

Outcome Assessment: What Counts as Success in Ethics Training? - Ethics training can yield demonstrable results, but what is reasonable to expect and how can outcomes be gauged? How can training outcomes align with the goals of your overall ethics program? This session will be led by John Truslow who will be drawing from his experience as an ethics program manager with XO Communications and a researcher with the Ethics Resource Center in Washington, D.C.

You will also receive a useful resource guide that can be of immediate use to your company. Continental breakfast and lunch will be served.
