  Jieying Zheng, class of 2009
Phoenix Rising
A new economy is arising that bears little resemblance to traditional bull and bear capitalism. The Phoenix Economy – introduced by London think tank Volans at the World Economic Forum in 2009 – works toward integrating a triple bottom line of economic, social and environmental values. Jieying Zheng, a graduate of Robinson’s Global Partners MBA program, was so inspired by the concept that she spent her program internship in London with Volans founder and “godfather of sustainability” John Elkington.
