Brazil is among the top 10 economies in the world. It is a sophisticated leader in flex-fuel technology and the world’s biggest soy producer. Rio de Janeiro is home to the Brazilian oil industry and many multinationals such as Coca-Cola, Xerox and IBM. Rio is also known for its music, cuisine, cultural diversity and breathtaking natural setting.
Students arrive at COPPEAD in Rio de Janeiro in January, at the height of summer. They experience the living classroom with coursework complemented by weekly visits to multinational companies and government agencies during the 5 week residency.
