Internship Opportunities
Camp Twin Lakes: posted 08.26.2008 Camp
Twin Lakes is a nonprofit organization that provides transformative
camping experiences for children with serious illnesses and life
challenges. Two interns are needed to each work 20-30 hours per week in
Camp Twin Lakes’ Atlanta office helping with fundraising events.
One intern will work with the Development Officer of the Partners Card
Program, that’s raises over $350,000 for Camp Twin Lakes annually. The
second intern will work with the Special Events Director and the
Director of Community Relations for athletics events, including the
Spin for Kids bicycle riding event. Interns will also be expected
to participate as members of the Camp Twin Lakes staff and may be asked
to help out in other areas as well. Both internships are unpaid.

Drury Hotels Internship Program gives students an opportunity to
enhance their education with career-related experience. The
program is structured, and the assignments provide learning objectives
that give students the opportunity to gain practical experience in
their chosen career field. The Drury Internship Program rotates
students though all the departments of the hotel: Front Desk, Night
Audit, Breakfast, Housekeeping, Laundry, and Maintenance. Interested

Georgia World Congress Center: posted 08.26.2008 The
Event Services Department of the GWCC is seeking a Student Intern to
assist Event Coordinators in the planning and monitoring of events.
This internship is the perfect opportunity for a student to receive
hands-on experience and understanding of the operations of Event
Services, as it relates to the GWCC. The student intern will also be
required to attend planning meetings for each event and monthly
departmental meetings. Qualified applicants must be enrolled as a
full-time student at a college or university with a major field of
study in Hospitality Administration, possess a requirement to receive
an academic evaluation as part of completing the Intern Program.

American Catering is seeking a Catering Sales Intern. This position
will entail working directly with William Neal, Senior Sales Manager.
His previous company, Chef William Neal Caterers, Inc. has been

skills, a minimum six month commitment and the willingness to sign a

graduating seniors for its Manager in Training position. The internship
consists of a 10-week experience, where interns are required to work
40-hour weeks and are paid $10 per hour. The internship can be
completed at any of Red Lobster’s 650 locations nation-wide. The
management training program consists of a 13 week experience, where the
last week is spent at Darden Restaurant’s Support Center in Orlando,
FL. Upon completion, managers in training will become a Beverage and
Hospitality Manager, Culinary Manager, or Service Manager. The
compensation for each includes an excellent salary and a quarterly paid

Association of Energy Engineers is seeking a part-time assistant to
