Senior Sarah Carpenter had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in New Zealand for a full semester at Victoria University of Wellington. As an independent student, Sarah says, “Going alone gave me freedom to really step outside of my comfort zone and experience New Zealand in a way no one can relate to unless they themselves have shared a similar experience. Going places, studying/traveling with friends for a few weeks is great, but going to a place to adapt and settle into a routine is an indescribable experience.”
