Some of the initial ideas include expanding the course offerings, offering courses directly from Robinson through the distance technology in place, establishing relationships with other U.S. schools and further developing AIT’s library resources.
As for the role of Georgia State and the Robinson College of Business, it is clear.
"AIT is unlikely to reach the same clientele without Georgia State’s prominent role," said Dr. Mahmoud Shabana, dean of AIT. "Therefore, we will continue to market the program under the Georgia State University/AIT label with Robinson faculty continuing to teach our core courses."
As for Dakhli, Wysor and the other Robinson faculty who keep in touch with their students by cell phone and e-mail, that suits them just fine.
