Survey Shows Atlanta Business Turns to Robinson College

Where does Georgia turn for most of its top executives? According to Standard & Poor’s, that place is Georgia State University and the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

In S&P’s report listing of 1,600 top executives with Georgia companies, more executives with master’s degrees or MBAs come from Georgia State than from any other institution in the nation. The top 10 include the following:

Buck Associates, an Atlanta consulting firm, was the first to make schools aware of the list about five years ago, at which time Georgia State also ranked first but by a much narrower margin (59-58 over Harvard) than in the most recent report.
