Risk management is such a priority at one of the world's top reinsurers that there is no chief risk officer position. "We come from a culture of risk management," Stanard says. "For our organization, we decided against any implication that risk management is delegated. Instead our operating committee handles that function. All of the top management team at Renaissance Re is concerned with it."
