Scholarships Offered Through the Department of Marketing

GSU Marketing RoundTable Outstanding Minority Student Scholarship

This scholarship is sponsored by the GSU Marketing RoundTable and is awarded annually to students of African American, Hispanic American, or Native American ethnicity and currently enrolled in a Marketing course, with high academic standing. Qualified students will have a minimum grade point average of 3.0. Students must be nominated by Marketing faculty members.

Trend Influence Advertising Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior student majoring in Marketing with a concentration in advertising, and is based on scholastic achievement, a sincere interest and potential for a successful career in advertising, and recommendation by a Marketing faculty member.

The Martin Sherry Scholarship of the Atlanta Broadcast Advertising Club

This scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior who is majoring in Marketing with a concentration in advertising, and is based on scholastic achievement and a sincere interest and potential for success in a career in advertising. Students must be nominated by a Marketing faculty member.

Hammill Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to students majoring in Marketing in honor of Richard Hammill, past senior vice president of Marketing at The Home Depot. The criteria for selection are high scholastic achievement, high potential for a successful career in marketing, and financial need.

Chick-fil-A  Outstanding Marketing Student  Scholarship

Endowed in 2012 to honor the 30-year relationship between Chick-fil-A and Dr. Ken Bernhardt, this scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in Marketing with high academic performance, outstanding character, and a high likelihood of a successful career in Marketing.
