What makes Robinson’s MAS so special?

We are one of the elite programs in the country
Robinson’s MAS program is offered by the only school accredited by the Society of Actuaries as a Center of Actuarial Excellence in the Southeast. Our department is ranked #6 by U.S. News & World Report and has been ranked within the top 10 for more than 10 years. Further, the MAS is accredited as a University Risk Program by the Professional Risk Managers Association. Other programs can claim two of these credentials, but only Robinson has achieved all three. We are the experts
Many MAS faculty are credentialed actuaries with significant experience in the professional and academic fields. Further, our actuaries are global scholars serving on editorial boards of several journals relevant for actuarial science including the ASTIN Bulletin, Journal of Risk and Insurance, Risks, Scandinavian Journal of Statistics, Journal of Mathematical Studies, and Statistica Sinica.
We’ll help you climb the corporate ladder
By housing our program in a business school instead of a math department, students learn business skills and acumen as well as a deep dive into actuarial science, creating multiple pathways up the corporate ladder. Plus, as a result of the college’s long history and large scale, employers from around the country heavily recruit our talent.
