Our students have the opportunity to meet and mingle with owners, developers and corporate leaders at one of many major trade shows and conferences around the country, free of charge. Students have attended the Graduate Hospitality and Tourism Research Conference, the Hunter Hotel Investment Conference and the National Restaurant Association Show, among others.
You’ll prepare for professional certifications
Students become eligible to obtain key professional certificates, including the Certification in Hospitality Industry Analytics (CHIA) and the Certificate in Sustainable Hospitality Operations.

International field experience
Students have the option to study global hospitality issues in an international setting. For the past two years, the program has traveled to Cuba.
