The Working Group on Talent Retention is an intercompany " by invitation only" collaboration of executives, human resource professionals and talent managers from organizations within Russia, committed to addressing the challenge of developing and retaining key leadership talent within their enterprises.
Its purpose is to explore common concerns in a noncompetitive setting and to exchange insights and ideas on alternatives practices for management of leadership talent.
Participants, including one primary delegate and two alternates from each invited organization, will be convened through a combination of face-to-face and electronic meetings.
The working group convener will serve as a facilitator with the aim of aiding participants to address common objectives related to talent retention. The facilitator does not aspire to lead the group in achieving a consensus on any disagreements that preexist or emerge during meetings. Rather, the focus is exploring, capturing and summarizing insights into leadership issues and practices whether similar or diverse.
Appropriate notes of points raised and practices shared during discussions will be maintained and shared with participants. A protocol for doing so will be developed by participants in the working group.
The life of the working group may be from just a few months to several years, depending on the interests, activities, wishes and interests of its participants.
Initial funding of the working group will be through Robinson Lomonosov Executive Leaders and the Center for Global Business Leadership at Georgia State University
's Robinson College of Business.
A repository of notes, presentations and discussion documents will be maintained by the Center on behalf of Robinson Lomonosov Executive Leaders.
