Once you start an online application, you will be sent a link to complete a mandatory virtual interview. The virtual interview is your opportunity to show the admissions committee your personality and articulate why you are a good fit for Robinson. Please complete the interview by the application deadline. If a second in-person or Skype interview is needed, someone from the admissions committee will notify you. You can practice your responses as many times as you like, but you will receive only one opportunity to record your answers.

In addition, Robinson's Office of Executive Education offers GRE, GMAT and LSAT preparation courses via the Test Prep Academy.
One official copy of the transcript of all college work is required from each previously attended institution if you are subsequently offered admission.
Each transcript must be closed with the institution's official seal across the flap. If an institution's policies do not permit sending official transcripts to applicants for use with self-managed applications, the transcripts may be sent directly to the Office of Graduate Recruiting and Student Services at the below address:
J. Mack Robinson College of Business
Office of Graduate Recruiting and Student Services
Georgia State University
P.O. Box 3988
Atlanta, GA 30302-3988
In this instance, applicants should indicate on the application that the transcripts will be sent separately by the appropriate deadline.
The eSCRIP-SAFE System
Electronic transcripts from eSCRIP-SAFE are acceptable if your institution is listed as a "sender" (not receiver) of transcripts. "Sender" must be selected for the member type. If a school does not utilize eSCRIP, we will accept official transcripts electronically as long as they are sent by the institution directly to our email address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The online master's application contains two required narrative essays and one optional essay.
These essays provide an opportunity for applicants to present themselves to the Master's Admissions Committee and to highlight qualities relevant to success in a graduate business program that may not be evident in test scores and past academic performance.
Type each response on a separate page and include your complete name as well as the letter and/or number of the question at the top of each page. Please limit each response to 250 words typed and double-spaced.
- Please list your short-term and long-term goals after completing the Master of Science in Finance.
- What characteristics do you possess that make you a good fit for the Robinson College of Business and the Master of Science in Finance?
If you have additional information or feel there are extenuating circumstances to share with the Admissions Committee (i.e. academic performance issues or areas of weakness in the application), please submit the optional essay as well.
