September 2, 2009 - (McDonough, GA) - Students accepted into the January 2010 Henry County Professional MBA (PMBA) class, offered by Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business, will have an opportunity to save $4,000 on tuition as the result of a special scholarship now available.

The Professional MBA is a two-year program, where a cohort of students attends classes every other Thursday evening and every other Saturday for six terms. The part-time MBA program is ranked seventh in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.

Students who are selected for the scholarship will pay only $36,600 for this premium program--a $4,000 reduction off the regular price of $40,600.

According to Toby McChesney, director of Graduate Recruiting and Student Services for the Robinson College, "We are very pleased to make this special offer available to students wishing to attend our program in Henry County. The Henry County PMBA has been one of our most popular and we hope this offer will allow more prospective students to attend this high-quality, highly-ranked offering."

Students considering the PMBA program should have at least four years of experience. In addition to its high ranking, McChesney said other reasons to attend include:

  • A lock-step format where students work together as a cohort from start to finish
  • Electives that suit specific career paths
  • Robinson's approach to educating working professionals using a combination of real-world applications, dynamic class forums, case studies, lectures, student presentations and peer-to-peer learning
McChesney reminded prospective students that the offer is only good for the Henry County PMBA program beginning January 2010 and that applications must be received by October 26, 2009.
