ATLANTA - A publication produced by Georgia State's Robinson College
Economic Forecasting Center was given an Award of Excellence in Publications by the Association for University Business and Economic Research (AUBER). The award was presented at the organization's fall conference in Indianapolis.
The publication recognized was the Center's
Forecast of Georgia and Atlanta, produced quarterly by the center's director, Rajeev Dhawan.
According to Dhawan, "The ability to effectively communicate economic information is the essence of what we are about. To be acknowledged by our peers for our success in this area is most gratifying. It also speaks well of the members of our Economic Forecasting team, who assist in providing content."
The Economic Forecasting Center's quarterly reports number 32 pages plus forecasting tables. They are distributed to some 300 attendees at the quarterly conferences and are available to center sponsors and by subscription.
AUBER is the professional association of business and economic research organizations in public and private universities.
