Biography

Prior to coming to Georgia State University, Chris was in senior-level management of client service of two of the largest multinational advertising firms. He started in the advertising agency business as a copywriter and switched from the creative side to the strategy and management functions upon his completion of his MBA from Georgia State University. Additionally, as an entrepreneur, he started three firms that he was able to sell when he joined the GSU faculty. At the present time he works with companies and NPOs in their discernment and implementation of new business models to enhance their sustainability in the global economy. Additionally, he is an ordained, non-stipendiary clergy member of The Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Atlanta and is currently one of a team developing micro-finance and mentoring programs for low-income individuals and women and men in ethnic minorities.
