Genna is a lecturer for Robinson’s Department of Finance, the faculty advisor for the Finance Society and the Portfolio Management Team, and a registered investment advisor and proprietor of her own investment advisory business. She has been a member of the faculty of the University of Miami and Kennesaw State University.
Genna lived in Miami for 18 years and worked as an investment executive at major brokerage firms prior to becoming a registered investment advisor and starting her own advisory business. She was a member of various sales recognition clubs and served as the mutual fund coordinator while in the retail brokerage business.
Graduating with a B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Georgia and completing her M.B.A. at The University of Miami while working full time, Genna has continued to study finance and investment management with the Association of Investment Management and Research as well as numerous other investment industry and academic conferences and seminars. She is a member of the Financial Management Association and the Southern Finance Association, and a former president of the Miami Society of Financial Analysts.View Brown’s CV
