Vee Nelson teaches in the Business Communication Program. She was part of the team that developed the initial communication course for the Robinson College of Business, and after years working as a consultant, she returned to teach the graduate-level Strategic Business Communication.
As president and lead instructional designer for her Atlanta-based consulting firm, she helped clients increase the capabilities of their employees through custom training, e-learning, and communication solutions. She conducted classes and train-the-trainer sessions throughout the U.S and abroad. She also developed a workshop series on writing in various business and professional contexts.
Her publications include “Editing for Consistency,” in Techniques for Technical Communicators published by Macmillan, and 24 articles on communication published by The Daily Report, with six articles reprinted in other publications. She has given presentations on leadership and communication, training design, writing, and editing delivered at professional and business conferences.
She is a member of the Association of Business Communication, Association for Talent Development, International Society for Performance Improvement, and Society for Technical Communication.
