Azerbaijan State Oil Academy MBA

From an initial class in 1999 of less than 20, the ASOA-Robinson MBA now has more than 100 students enrolled. In its 10-year history, the program has graduated 357. Created as the result of Robinson’s Dr. Bijan Fazlollahi’s efforts to obtain a grant from the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, this MBA program has filled the void for advanced business education in Azerbaijan that surfaced when the nation regained its independence after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The program offers an up-to-the-minute curriculum that is taught in English, primarily by local faculty. Robinson faculty also teach at ASOA.
