Exchange programs offer semester or academic year studies at a host university outside the U.S. Reciprocal in nature, an exchange program offers the opportunity to switch places with a student in another part of the world while paying tuition at GSU. Students travel independently, take classes with local students and experience life in another country. GSU program directors assist students with preparations, but exchange students have the control to organize their time while studying at the foreign institution. Though classes are taken abroad, students earn GSU institutional credit.
Financial aid and scholarships can be used to fund an exchange experience making it a cost neutral option. Check out the Study Abroad Programs website for scholarship information.
