GRACE LOGINS

Your Novell NetWare password expires every 90 days. When it has expired you see the dialog box that states, “The password for user “userid” has expired. You have “X” grace logins left to change your password. Do you want to change your password?”  with the options being “Yes or No.” Always choose YES. Do not wait until the last remaining login to change your password.

If you are accessing your data through eStorage, you do not get the password expiration message. In fact, if your password has expired and you only have grace logins left, you will be using up a grace login every time you connect to eStorage until you change your password.

This does not apply to GroupWise passwords which do not expire.
