
The Honorary Board is a core support group of the Department of Real Estate at Georgia State University whose members are recruited from senior leadership across functional areas of the real estate industry. The energy, wisdom and financial generosity of the Honorary Board are crucial to maintaining and enhancing the relevance of the real estate program to its constituent communities.
In the quarterly meeting of its Real Estate Honorary Board, Georgia State University’s Department of Real Estate surveys its membership to gauge the general condition of the real estate market in Atlanta. This group comprises executives and senior management from most of the premier commercial and residential real estate firms in Atlanta representing a wide swath of disciplines including banking, brokerage, development, investment and construction. The survey measures the current mood in the real estate industry as well as tracks how this sentiment is changing over time.
