The World Affairs Council of Atlanta was asked by the prestigious U.S.-Russia Business Council to be the Atlanta co-sponsor of a special luncheon discussion. The program focused on the latest strategic thinking about how to make cities and regions truly competitive in the global marketplace.

The U.S. Russia Business Council (USRBC) is a highly respected Washington-based trade association that provides significant business development, dispute resolution, government relations, and market intelligence services to its American and Russian member companies. Members include some of the largest American companies: The Coca-Cola Company, Alcoa, AGCO, Boeing, Caterpillar, Chevron, Cisco, Exxon, Pfizer, UPS, Visa, and many other American and Russian companies. Clyde Tuggle, World Affairs Council board member and chief global affairs and communications officer for The Coca-Cola Company, serves on the board of USRBC. Neville Isdell is chairman emeritus of the organization.
