This dual-degree Professional MBA/Master of Health Administration (PMBA/MHA) program for PruittHealth provides students with the opportunity to apply learned skills to real problems. Teams of students work with industry partners and colleagues on field study projects using internal proprietary data to address problems facing PruittHealth, a Southeast regional leader in long-term healthcare. These projects are completed under the guidance of an assigned faculty member and focus on those topics that the industry participant requests and that are approved by faculty members of Robinson’s Institute of Health Administration faculty.
Working with industry partners and colleagues, teams of students explore and identify new and creative approaches, apply new or improved methodologies, and recommend changes to achieve outcomes. Students must work diligently to balance their classes and work/life demands around the demands of the experiential project.
This program is intended to develop students who enter the PMBA/MHA program from various disciplines, as well as address the need to develop future leaders across long term care and the continuum of care with the knowledge of healthcare and business.
