Georgia State’s Center for Engaged Business Research (CEBR), founded by the Executive Doctorate in Business Program (EDB), hosted its third workshop. The mission of the Center for Engaged Business Research is to promote engaged scholarship with contemporary business problems through collaboration between Robinson College of Business EDB alumni, faculty, and doctoral students. Dr. Denish Shah, Associate Professor of Marketing at Georgia State University, kicked off the workshop with a discussion on digital marketing and presented his own work in collaboration with the city of Atlanta. Dr. Shah’s presentation was followed by a full day of presentations and discussions, dedicated to furthering DBA research.
Executive Doctorate in Business Class of 2015 Alum, Dr. Fabiola Corvera-Stimeling, presented her recently published book, Voiceless Customer: Why Customers Leave, and spoke about the different process for book publication versus journal publication. Fabiola’s expertise is in value co-creation, customer experience, and service innovation. The goal of her book is to help service companies understand how they can better serve and retain their customers.
