The Departments of Finance and Accounting at the Robinson College of Business are proud to host the 32nd annual Conference on Financial Economics and Accounting, November 4 and 5, 2022, at the Buckhead campus of Georgia State University.
The keynote speaker for the conference will be:
Ľuboš Pástor, Charles P. McQuaid Professor of Finance, University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. The keynote address will be at the dinner on Friday, November 4, 2022. The title of his presentation is: Steering a Ship in Illiquid Waters: Active Management of Passive Funds.
This annual conference is organized by members of a consortium representing eight universities: Georgia State University, Indiana University, New York University, Rutgers University, Temple University, Tulane University, the University of Maryland and the University of Toronto. The conference convenes financial economists and accounting scholars, practitioners and students from around the US to explore emerging concepts and themes in finance and accounting, with a special focus on the intersection of the two fields of research.
The one-and-a-half-day conference is dedicated to the development of all research methods in finance and accounting, including theory, case studies, archival and experimental work. We invite authors to submit analytical and empirical papers in all areas of finance and accounting.
