- In spring 2017, our Master of Business Administration/Master of Health Administration (MBA/M.H.A.) received the CAHME/Cerner Award for Excellence in Healthcare Management Systems Education.
- In March 2017, Modern Healthcare named our master of science in health administration the 11th largest master’s program in health administration.
- Our MBA/M.H.A. dual degree program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME).
MISSION
The mission of the IHA, through its business focused-program, is to prepare our students to manage change, challenges, and opportunities within the healthcare sector; to conduct and disseminate rigorous research, and to engage in industry collaborations.
Within the Institute, the mission of the MHA Program is to offer a comprehensive academic course of study for early-career working professionals from across the southeast. Our target students are
those who value rigorous didactic content from the business and healthcare domains delivered in a format that facilitates applied learning and the development of professional and leadership skills as
preparation for positions throughout the healthcare sector.
