Business opportunities and challenges in the Western Hemisphere require increased attention considering new free trade agreements signed by the United States, the potential of an eventual Free Trade Area of the Americas, and global competition coming from Asia. This initiative is promoting research, consulting, and offering executive programs to improve managerial practices and competitiveness throughout the Americas.

Consumer Radar® allows clients to rapidly understand American consumers and their opinions about clients‘ products or services.

Distributor Safari® allows clients to rapidly identify potential distributors for their products.
Express Strategic Planning®
Express Strategic Planning® is a three-day workshop that allows clients to develop a strategic business plan to successfully enter the U.S. market. Prior to the purchase of the program, clients must purchase the Consumer Radar® and Distributor Safari® interventions.
Investors Road-Show®
Investors Road-Show® allows clients to rapidly identify potential lenders and investors for their business plans.

Consumer Radar® allows clients to rapidly understand Latin American consumers and their opinions about clients’ products or services.
Distributor Safari®
This program involves conducting interviews with potential distributors for Latin American sales of the products and/or services of the clients. Distributor Safari® allows clients to rapidly identify potential distributors for their products.
Express Strategic Planning®
Express Strategic Planning® is a three-day workshop that allows clients to develop a strategic business plan to successfully enter the Latin American market.
Nearshoring Contractor Safari®
This program includes screening and contacting potential sources of inputs and/or final products from companies in Latin America. This has become a key alternative to sourcing from Asia. Recently signed free trade agreements make it even more attractive. Nearshoring Contractor Safari® allows clients to rapidly identify potential suppliers.
USLAT Programs for Universities
Overseas Seminars and Workshops
These programs are organized for Latin American universities that want an overseas experience for their students. USLAT faculty organize tailored one- or two-week experiences in the United States. These can focus on one topic area (e.g., retailing or telecom) or can address the major disciplines of MBA programs (strategy, marketing, management, HR, IT) utilizing top professors and visits to representative firms active in various industries.
In-Country Presentations
These programs involve sending select GSU faculty members or other experts to Latin America for conducting business development programs or making presentations in programs designed by local institutions.
Collaborative Programs
The Robinson College of Business has a variety of collaborative activities with universities worldwide for conducting teaching, research and service programs of mutual interest.

Overseas Seminars and Workshops
These programs are organized for Latin American development agencies that want an overseas experience for selected staff members. USLAT faculty organize tailored one- or two-week experiences in the United States.The State of Georgia and the City of Atlanta have had significant success in the areas of economic growth and improved global competitiveness. USLAT faculty can share those experiences and discuss best practices.
