Are you ready to put our students’ curiosity and passion to work?
More Georgia executives hold advanced degrees from the Robinson College of Business and Georgia State University than from any other school in the nation.
On average, Georgia State’s Black, Latinx, first-generation, and Pell-eligible students graduate at or above the rates of the university’s overall student population.
Robinson is one of the largest business schools in the South. Our campus comprises more than 8,000 students, researchers, educators, and professionals.
Our students put the concepts learned in the classroom to the test through hands-on projects reflecting what they’ll encounter in the real world.

Bank of America is One of Robinson's Earliest Believers
Decades before Georgia State University received national attention for a commitment to inclusion and belonging, innovation, and social mobility—and before rankings bodies paid attention to such things—leaders from Bank of America (BofA) recognized those traits within the downtown Atlanta school. One might call Bank of America an original cheerleader for Georgia State’s Robinson College of Business. The bank is, after all, one of Robinson’s longest-standing supporters.
A $1 million donation in the early ‘60s marked the bank’s first major gift to Georgia State. Mills B. Lane, then president of Citizens & Southern National Bank (C&S, a precursor to Bank of America), did so to encourage more students to pursue careers in banking.
“Robinson students display some really impressive attributes like grit, resilience, and an entrepreneurial spirit. They demonstrate an unwavering commitment to not only their own education but also to their community. They possess a good perspective of themselves as global citizens and how they can make a difference on a larger scale.”
- Al McRae, president, Bank of America Atlanta
BlackRock is a Bedrock of Panther Immersion Programs
Graduates from the Robinson College of Business make smooth transitions from college to career. Out-of-classroom experiences that prepare students for the real world are woven into the curriculum and offered through extracurricular programming. A hallmark immersive initiative at Robinson is its umbrella of Panther Immersion Programs: multi-day excursions to key professional districts in New York City, Silicon Valley, and Washington, D.C. After a competitive application process and rigorous months-long coaching, cohorts travel to those cities to network, tour company headquarters, and ultimately contend for jobs. The trips would not be possible without corporate partners’ support. A significant champion of Robinson’s Panther Immersion Programs is investment management corporation BlackRock, which plays a key role in all three locations.
“By developing a level of comfort through these unique experiences, students—some who come from challenged backgrounds—will be in a strong position to succeed in the marketplace. And quite frankly, we benefit when Robinson students learn about BlackRock. Robinson students possess grit, a hunger to work, and passion.”
- Peter Williams, head of community strategy and engagement, BlackRock Atlanta
