How do I start my job or internship search?

VMock Career Acceleration Platform

Your first step is to develop your resume and profile content. The CAC provides students access to the VMock career acceleration platform, which leverages the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to provide instant, personalized feedback in the following modules: Smart Resume Editor, Career Fit (skills gap analysis), Aspire (LinkedIn profile feedback), and Elevator Pitch (interview feedback).

How do I access walk-in hours, workshops and individual career coaching?

Students are encouraged to start by accessing the following.

Undergraduate Office Hours
Monday - Thursday, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. (ET)

Graduate 'Ask a Coach' Drop-Ins
Log in to Zoom (No RSVP Required)

Drop in any time from 12p.m. – 1p.m Monday through Thursday. No appointment needed.

Ask a Coach is available when Georgia State is open. This includes finals week and between semesters. Georgia State is closed during winter break and other holidays. See the full Georgia State holiday schedule.
