On March 3, 2018, the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute (ENI) hosted TiE Atlanta at Georgia State University’s Buckhead campus for its 5th annual TYE University Entrepreneurship Competition. The program has brought together over 55 teams, 150 students across 18 Georgia Universities, and 50 coaches and mentors over the past five years.

February 21, 2018 marked the official grand opening of LaunchGSU. With more than 60 members from all majors across Georgia State, this incubator will contribute to fostering an entrepreneurial and innovative culture across campus.
Monday, January 29 marked this semester’s first Faces of Entrepreneurship event! This series engages students with Georgia State alumni entrepreneurs of diverse backgrounds and industries. Entrepreneurship and Innovation kicked off our ENI Live series for the spring 2018 semester with a workshop that outlined ways entrepreneurs are marketing their businesses and gave students a crash course in content marketing.
Foster is the CEO and co-founder of Enrich, a company that gives the worst of gardeners an enjoyable and straightforward gardening experience. Once a user has purchased an enrich kit, they can download the Enrich app and scan the code located on the kit to add the plant to their virtual garden. Not only can you track the growth of the new plant in the app, but it will also remind you when to water it!
Three Georgia State student startups have ranked amongst the top 64 chosen to compete in the Student Startup Madness Competition. Soundcollide, Prepspire, and Timbre will have the chance to compete, attract potential investment opportunities, and network with likeminded students and professionals. Applications were received from over 60 institutions, ranging from large state universities to small private colleges.
Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business will introduce a B.B.A. in entrepreneurship in spring 2018, the college’s first new undergraduate major in more than 20 years.
