Center for Research in Information Security and Privacy
The Center for Research in Information Security and Privacy is a program area under the Center for Research in Information Systems, and is a focal point for research in cyber security and privacy conducted in various departments at Georgia State University.
The center is dedicated to research that seeks to understand and help shape the complex development, use and social effects of emerging cybersecurity technologies and policies. It will serve to generate research ideas, programmatic outcomes and a pipeline of top-notch researchers. The center promotes world-leading, multidisciplinary research across computer information systems, criminology, computer science, psychology, communication and law through dynamic connections with academia, industry and government.

Our Members
Members of the center include faculty in the Department of Computer Information Systems in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, the departments of Computer Science, Psychology, Mathematics and Statistics and Communication in the College of Arts & Sciences and the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies.
The primary goals of the center are to support interdisciplinary research in cybersecurity and privacy, and to enhance educational programs offered at Georgia State University in these areas.
