The B.B.A. in Accountancy program provides students with the foundation needed to secure entry-level positions in the field. Additionally, it grooms students for a Master of Professional Accountancy degree as well as graduate studies in other business areas or law.
Actuaries have been called financial architects and social mathematicians because of their unique blend of analytical and business skills in the insurance and financial services industries. They serve as consultants in firms that specialize in employee benefits and pensions, in the government sector, and in a variety of other roles. To be recognized as a qualified actuary, a person should become a member of the Society of Actuaries or the Casualty Actuarial Society. Membership is obtained by passing a series of examinations. Completion of Robinson’s actuarial science program greatly enhances the possibility of passing those exams.
Economics examines the material prosperity of countries and their citizens in an interdependent world of limited resources and technological change.
Over the course of the B.B.A. in Business Economics program, students study how decisions are made by private businesses, governments, and households in producing, consuming, and distributing goods.

There is a continuing shortage of individuals with the combination of business and technology skills needed to develop and manage information systems that provide competitive advantage in the global marketplace. The mission of the B.B.A. in Computer Information Systems program is to produce graduates who are able to fill this need.
With a degree in entrepreneurship, you will be able to see the business world from multiple views, as well as how they relate. You’ll be prepared to apply multiple business concepts to existing product/service offerings to drive better business decisions for your organization, confidently suggest innovative new offerings to pursue, and successfully “defend” them.
Robinson’s B.B.A. in entrepreneurship is a “do” versus a “learn-to-do” program. You will have the opportunity to take an idea from formation to backing and on to execution. You’ll gain practical experience through coursework, individualized mentoring, guest speaker events, and focused workshops with many opportunities to participate in competitions, student organizations, a living-learning community, and several on-campus incubators.
The B.B.A. in Finance program provides students with a thorough understanding of financial operations in both non-financial and financial businesses as well as a broader understanding of financial markets.
Students learn to develop and implement financial strategies that maximize firm value, understand and apply state-of-the-art analytical financial tools, and analyze and manage financial market risks.
The Department of Finance is noted for its faculty’s outstanding teaching, research, and business experience as well as for its diverse course offerings, ranging from corporate strategy and asset management to fintech and financial data analytics.
The B.B.A. in Hospitality Administration program provides a well-integrated curriculum with a focus in general business and hospitality while incorporating courses on the arts and sciences that prepare students for management positions in the hospitality industry.
While the core coursework equips students with a general knowledge of the field, specialized elective courses and work study experiences allow students to gain insight into varied industry segments.
Graduates from the B.B.A. in Management program will be poised to assume positions in industry sectors including human resources, operations management, and entrepreneurship.

Marketing is an exciting, dynamic process through which customer needs and wants are determined and satisfied through the conception, development, promotion, exchange, and distribution of goods and services. The undergraduate program in marketing provides students with fundamental preparation in general marketing and an understanding of markets and customers, product development, pricing strategies, advertising and promotion, and methods of distribution. The program also develops the student’s capacity to solve managerial problems in marketing and prepares graduates to enter careers in the field. A wide range of career opportunities are available to marketing graduates. Marketing management is often the path to the top of the business organization. Entry-level positions are available in selling, product development, advertising, promotion, physical distribution, industrial marketing, marketing research, customer service, and many other specialties. Individuals who deal in land assets, as investors, brokers, appraisers, analysts, financiers, or developers, require substantial awareness of the community’s political and economic characteristics plus a thorough knowledge of the economics involved in each investment situation.
The curriculum in real estate is designed to provide the student with an understanding of (1) the various phases of real estate activity, (2) the economic and social services relating to land use that are performed by individuals and institutions, and (3) the forms of business and professional services necessary to support real estate activity.

The Department of Risk Management & Insurance is an interdisciplinary academic unit. It offers undergraduate majors in actuarial science and in risk management and insurance, together with courses in the areas of legal studies and personal financial planning.
The Certificate in Business Analytics equips students with the analytics and big data skills needed to be successful in modern organizations. By earning this certificate, you will inform employers of your passion for and acumen in the analytics arena.
