The Robinson Inclusion & Equity Task Force was formed to advance a more inclusive, equitable and welcoming community that actively celebrates diversity as a core value and commits the college to recognizing and addressing systemic inequalities in business and society.
Last year, a group of students, alumni, faculty, staff, and partners of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business and Georgia State University came together to form the Robinson Inclusion & Equity Task Force (IETF). These dedicated individuals examined the current state of diversity, equity and inclusion at Robinson, identified best practices at other institutions and provided recommendations for achieving the vision powering the work of the task force.
The task force's recommendations represent an important and exciting agenda to significantly advance Robinson as a more inclusive and impactful organization. We have established a new Culture, Equity & Inclusion Council under the leadership of the new associate dean of culture, equity & inclusion, Dr. Marian Higgins, to carry out the implementation of the task force's recommendations.
Please take the time to read the task force’s recommendations, think about serving on or nominating someone for the council, or look for other ways to get involved.
Let’s get started building a better Robinson and a better world.
