Virtual Exchange Project
Regardless of their major, all undergraduate business students complete the core course Global Business (BUSA 4000). A major assignment involves collaborating with peers from a school on the other side of the world. Through this Virtual Exchange Project, student teams address a real business challenge with international implications. One year, Robinsons students met virtually with peers from South Mediterranean University in Tunis, Tunisia, to research the multi-dimensional nature of the global jewelry trade.

Research at Robinson
Robinson is an international ecosystem of cross-disciplinary research that expands beyond the boundaries of traditional business, merging with areas including engineering, mathematics and technology. Our full-time and visiting instructors from global institutions generate research that helps businesses–and everyday people–tackle previously unsolvable problems.
Robinson is home to three Fulbright scholars:
Leigh Anne Liu, Liang Peng, and Julie Salsbery.
Research Rankings
The University of Texas at Dallas consistently ranks us among the top 50 institutions worldwide for research.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln ranks the M.R. Greenberg School of Risk Science #14 in the world and #3 in North America for research productivity in actuarial science.
The Association for Information Systems ranks our Department of Computer Information Systems #3 in the world and #2 in North America for publications in MIS Quarterly from 2018-2020.
The Atlanta Advantage

Atlanta is one of the most celebrated cities in the world, and for good reason.
The city is a magnet for visionaries and leaders, and has generated trends in culture, entertainment, and business for decades. Atlanta was named the #1 most livable city in the U.S. by The Economist (2022) and #1 “Best Place to Live in the U.S.” by Money magazine (2022) because of its ample green space, strong labor market, historical significance, world-class food and music scene, and growing network of pedestrian and biking paths. The city has emerged as a banking center and boasts the third largest concentration of Fortune 500 companies in the country.
Atlanta is an ideal place to pursue an education, conduct research, and ultimately build a life.
