Actuarial Science, Master of

Our STEM-designated curriculum covers advanced topics including InsurTech, actuarial analytics, and machine learning. Students complete real-world, hands-on “sprint” projects, and emerge prepared to take the actuarial exams administered by the Society of Actuaries. The program covers coding and statistical methods as well as key actuarial topics. Students can complete the degree in person (in Atlanta) or fully online, and can study full-time or part-time after work. The program is geared toward students with quantitative backgrounds, both with and without prior actuarial training.

Department of Real Estate

Data Science and Analytics, M.S.
Institute for Insight
No matter your background, you can prepare for an exciting career in data science at Robinson.
Whether you are a math whiz or possess a liberal arts degree, this program will prepare you for a job in the data science field. After reviewing your application, the admissions committee will enroll you in a pathway that makes sense based on your background. Both tracks—data scientist and citizen data scientist—are STEM-designated as well as comprehensive, rigorous, and fast-paced. Through both courses of study, you will become comfortable with machine learning, deep learning, Python, and big data, and have the option to attend boot camps covering topics like SAS, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure.

Through the Regynald G. Information Systems, M.S.
Department of Computer Information Systems
Through Robinson’s M.S. in Information Systems, you can pursue a concentration that best suits your career goals. Options include big data management and analytics, digital innovation, and cybersecurity. Our cybersecurity concentration earned a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Research and Education designation from the NSA and DHS.
You’ll also attend boot camps covering in-demand topics related to your concentration.

Through Robinson’s Master of International Business, you will develop the strategic thinking, problem-solving, and research skills needed to navigate global markets, and recognize and manage cross-border challenges. You can choose between two tracks that address current market demands: Global Supply Chain & Logistics or Entrepreneurship & Innovation. As part of the program, you will earn a Data Certificate from Georgia State’s library.

Robinson’s Master of Professional Accountancy will prepare you to become a CPA, whether or not you possess accounting experience. Students without an accounting background will join a cohort, proceeding through the program in a sequence designed to maximize success and support along the way.
