Companies are increasing their commitment to sustainable operations. Four of the program’s required courses focus on best practices in environmental sustainability, allowing students to earn their certificate in Sustainable Hospitality Operations.

Classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 – 9:45 p.m.

- HADM 8100 – Survey of Hospitality and Tourism (3 hours)
- HADM 8300 – Hospitality International Field Research (3 hours)
This course takes place in an international setting. Students who do not take the trip will complete HADM 8389 – Directed Readings in Hospitality Administration instead. - HADM 8400 – Financial Management Applications in Hospitality Enterprises (3 hours)
- HADM 8500 – Economic and Cultural Impact of Travel and Tourism (3 hours)
- HADM 8550 – Sustainability in the Hospitality Industry (3 hours)
- HADM 8600 – Trends in the Food Service Industry (3 hours)
- HADM 8650 – Applied Research in Hospitality and Tourism (3 hours)
- HADM 8700 – Trends in the Lodging Industry (3 hours)
- HADM 8750 – International Special Event Management (3 hours)
